Zillow has agents on HAR MLS listed homes putting an attachment called Texas T’s & Cs that require buyer(s) to waive DTPA (Deceptive Trade Pratices Act), rights, in their listings. As a Realtor in good standing with TREC, NAR, TAR and a member of HAR MLS, I am appauled by this. We have ethics and rules that we need to maintain and allowing others to waive the DTPA is wrong! HAR should ban any company that resells listing info. If the agents voted Zillow would be banned. We put the info together and have lost Co trol.
Agree!! WHY are we allowing Access to indivduals/Companies that undercut what we stand for and strive to Uphold? I dont understand after 20+ years as a Realtor WHAT is going on and WHY we are allowing it!
Please explain in the webinar why you lobbied to strike the requirement that one has to be a resident of TX to become licensed.
Why are we paying all these fees. and not actually benefiting 100%.
